Goat’s kids distribution program to empower women economically

8th of July 2017 we, Soroptimist Kathmandu, Nepal have distributed the goat’s kids to empower women economically. The program focus for the rural and marginalized women who are in need and also 2015’s earthquake affected women and young girls in Changunarayan municipality ward No. 6 Nagarkot, Bhaktpur district. We have provided the kids for 21 women.

The major guest of the program was the recently elected Mayar of the Changunarayan municipality. And also we have guests from local government bodies. Soroptimist Kathmandu, Nepal President Uma Ghimire, Immediate Past President Radha Nepal, Program Action Officer Kabita Thapaliya and member Prabha Khanal, Gita Timalsina, Sangita Pradhan, Sunita Thing, Parbati Thami, Ambika Mahat and Goma Devi Bastola were participated at the program.
